One point to note is that the child lock isn’t inbuilt and needs to be purchased separately. However, the salesperson assured me that he would help me get the best possible price for it. "I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the highly unprofessional and distressing experience I faced at your Skoda showroom concerning the purchase of my Skoda Kylaq Signature 1.0 TSI AT. I had booked the above-mentioned vehicle on 26.12.2025. After receiving confirmation, I completed all required formalities and paid the full amount, following which the invoice was generated and delivery was taken on 09.01.2026. However, when we were about to leave the showroom after taking delivery, I was suddenly stopped by your showroom executive Mr. Vikram and his senior Mr. Surender, who demanded an additional amount of ₹21,000, citing an increased registration amount. I was shockingly informed that if I did not pay this extra amount, I would either not be allowed to leave the showroom or the delivery would be cancelled. This situation was extremely humiliating, shocking, and unacceptable—especially after full payment, invoicing, and formal delivery of the vehicle. I would like to clearly state that from 1st January till the day of invoicing, I repeatedly confirmed the final on-road price, and every time I was assured that there would be no price change. I was initially told about a nominal increase of ₹3,000, which was later mutually agreed upon as ₹1,000, and the same was already paid. At no point was I informed about an additional ₹21,000. Demanding extra charges after delivery is a clear breach of commitment, lack of transparency, and reflects severe miscommunication and mismanagement by your showroom staff. Due to this misconduct and the uncertainty created after delivery, I am left with no option but to request cancellation of the delivered vehicle and initiation of a full refund at the earliest. This vehicle purchase was planned for my marriage occasion, and due to family commitments, I urgently require the refund to proceed with an alternative arrangement. I am attaching the following documents for your reference: Full payment invoice Bank reimbursement details Accessories invoice Additionally, despite taking leave from my office and waiting at the showroom from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, I had to face this unnecessary stress and inconvenience solely due to misinformation and unfulfilled commitments by your staff. I sincerely hope Skoda will take this matter seriously, investigate the conduct of the concerned employees, and process my refund on priority. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution."
